JAMMU: The ‘Sant Samaj’—the top Hindu religious leaders on Sunday gave a stern message to the BJP urging the Modi-led Centre government to bring a Bill in the ongoing winter session of the Lok Sabha to pave way for construction of Ram Temple at Ayodhyya maintaining “stone carving work for the temple is going on and once that is completed, no power will stop us from constructing the temple”.

“Bring in a Bill in the ongoing winter session of the Lok Sabha and people will come to know who is in favor of constructing Tam Temple at Ayodhya and who is against it,” Jagat Guru Ramanand Acharya Swami Hansdev Acharya Maharaj said, while speaking during a Dharam Sabha organized by Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) here at Parade ground.

He said the "final battle" for the temple is about to start as religious heads are meeting in Uttar Pradesh early next year and there they would make an important announcement.

“I want to tell those claiming to be secular, we are prepared,” he added.

Prominent saints from Jammu and outside the state, top state BJP leaders, RSS leaders and volunteers attended the Dharam Sabha which was organized by VHP to garner support for Ram Temple.

“Saints are waiting for completion of work on stones to be used for construction of the Ram Temple.
Once the work is completed, no power will stop us from constructing the temple,” Acharya, who was the chef guest of the function, said while talking to reporters on the sidelines of function.

“We have sounded the bugle from here and next year our stop will be Prayagraj (Allahabad) Kumbh on January 31 and February 1, where final battle for the construction of the Ram Temple will be announced,” he said.

A decision to ask volunteers to reach Ayodhya will be taken at Prayagraj Kumbh, he said.

Saints have fought 77 battles for Ram Temple and now the final battle for construction of the Ram Temple will be announced from Prayagraj (Allahbad) on January 31 and February 1 next year, he said.
“We did not take permission from anybody to bring down the Babri Masjid on December 6, 1992, and with the demolition, the foundation for Ram Temple was laid,” he said.

On whether they are prepared to take law in their hands, he said, “There is no question of taking law in our hands.”

He opposed a division of the disputed land and said, “We want the entire land for the construction of temple and will not allow a mosque there”.

He also expressed dismay over the Supreme Court for deferring the hearing which observed that it was not a big issue for the court.

“If it is not an important issue for the court then I would like to question them that why they observe holiday on Ramnavami?” Acharya said.

He said the VHP is planning to reach out to people in all 543 Lok Sabha constituencies by holding 'Dharam Sabhas' in six lakh villages across the country.

Meanwhile, Acharya also praised the Army and the Governor for handling Kashmir situation. “Situation is all well in J&K and Governor and Army are doing their job well,” he said.

“It is because of their dedication that subversive activities have dropped,” he said.

The Dharm Sabha witnessed a massive participation as entire road opposite Brahaman Sabha was jam packed. The volunteers were raising slogans “Ek Hi Nara Ek Hi Naam Jai Shri Ram Jai Shri Ram” and “Ram Lala Ham Ayenge Mandir Wahi Banayenge” etc.

VHP state president Leela Karan Sharma, central secretary, Rajender Singh Pankaj, state VHP leaders, several religious heads, and state BJP president Ravinder Raina, Jugal Kishore Sharma (MP), former BJP state president Sat Sharma and others attended the Dharam Sabha.
