KVIC's multi-disciplinary training centre opened at Gandhi Darshan

New Delhi, Dec 13 (UNI) Union Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister Giriraj Singh inaugurated a multi-disciplinary training centre “Samadhan” of Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) at Gandhi Darshan, Rajghat on Thursday.

Speaking on this occasion, the Minister said the institute must work as an innovative social advisor for imparting valuable domain specific knowledge to generate more successful entrepreneurs and industry ready professionals.

Mr Singh expressed hope that the institute will provide the platform that will help in creating a large number of start-ups, by developing different models where initial investment, incubation and development through commercialisation may be coordinated among all of the participants.

Samadhan is an industrial training institute set up on public and private partnership mode with the MSME Ministry to provide comprehensive industry and business related guidance and quality knowledge to entrepreneurs, industries, corporate and institutions.

The Minister also inaugurated a mustard-oil manufacturing unit at the KVIC office at Gandhi Darshan. He also planted Moringa saplings on the premises of the mustard oil manufacturing unit.

KVIC chairman Vinai Kumar Saxena said live streaming of videos of industrial trainings, video lectures by industry experts about capital investment and industry processes, will help create a broader platform for KVIC programmes.

MSME Secretary Arun Kumar Panda and other officials of the Ministry of MSME and KVIC were present on this occasion.
