Civil Military Liaison conference held in Rajouri.

On the directions of District Development Commissioner, Rajouri, Mohammad Aijaz Asad ADC Rajouri today convened a meeting of Revenue, Defence Estate and Army officers to review the execution of the decision taken during the Civil-Military Liaison Conference.

Pertinently, ROs have been issued during this month to regularise the defence land in different areas like Bhawani, Jakore kandu, Rajpur Kamila, khamba,Nonial, laroka and others.Different dates for the month of January have been fixed by ADC Rajouri to resolve numerous issues pertaining to land encroachment .
ADC also informed that the ammunition depot issue have already been resolved by the DDC.

A threadbarw discussion was held on various issues, related to the issuance of requisition order, attestation of mutations, joint verifications of civil and military authorities, wherever required, and implementation of Work on Defence Act like encroachment of land at Palma, Patra and Manjakote.ADC Rajouri directed the ADC defence and tehsildar concerned for settlement of Palma land issue.ADC assured army officers for full co-operation in speedy resolution of these cases.The meeting was also decided on the implementation of work on Defence Act.

To review the progress and to discuss numerous other issues, the ADC has decided to convene a joint meeting of Revenue and Military officials.The cordial discussions were exceptionally useful and would enhance the coordination and synergy between the military and civil department.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri, Sher Singh,A DC Defence Ramkesh , SDM thannamandi Mohd. Tanveer , ADEO Rajouri-Poonch, representatives from the Military and Tehsildars of Rajouri district.
