Progress under Ayushman Bharat -PMJAY reviewed

BUDGAM, DECEMBER 10: Additional District Development Commissioner Budgam, Khurshid Ahmad Sanai today chaired a meeting to take review of progress under Ayushman Bharat in the district.
The meeting was attended by District Health Officer, Executive Officers of Municipal Committees of District Budgam. At the outset, District Health Officer Budgam briefed the meeting about the information and benefits of the scheme. It was revealed in the meeting that as of now District Budgam with steep progress under the scheme is placed at No. 5 rank.
During the meeting, the ADDC directed the Executive Officers to take every possible step for motivation / mobilization so that the beneficiaries identified under SECC 2011 are registered.
He stressed stressed and impressed upon the participants to make sure that the desired targets are achieved within stipulated time period.
Issue pertaining to the Bank authorities not cooperating and creating unnecessary inconveniences particularly during opening of fresh accounts at District / Block level were discussed threadbare during the meeting. The ADDC assured the health authorities that the matter will be taken up with the Bank authorities at an earliest.
It was also decided that departments viz Rural Development and PRIs, Education, ICDS will keep close coordination with Health Department to take every possible step at village level to make awareness amongst general public regarding the benefits of the scheme.
Chief Medical Officer Budgam and District Health Officer Budgam were directed to co-ordinate the issues and accordingly communicate the impediments, if any, to the officers / officials concerned and it was also impressed that Block Medical Officers / Medical Officers of different Sub-Centers be made available and they should communicate the progress twice daily so that the task is completed in given time frame.
CSC coordinators under demand were directed to facilitate the beneficiaries so that the registration in Ayushman Bharat is completed early and more efforts are taken so that target is achieved.
