One-yr BJP rule in HP: PM to address mega rally on Dec 27

Shimla, Dec 10: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a mega rally at Dharamshala in the state on December 27, being organised on the completion of one year tenure of the present government, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur announced on Monday.
Interacting with the media after inspecting the proposed venues of the rally at Dharamshala, Mr Thakur said the proposed rally would either be held at the HPCA Ground, Police Ground or at the SAIL Stadium of Dharamshala.
Thousands of beneficiaries of various welfare schemes of the state government and general public would participate in the rally, which would be made a historic event. An exhibition showcasing the one-year achievements of the state government would also be held, on the occasion, Mr Thakur added.
He said the party workers and general public throughout the state would be participating in this rally, which would also be graced the national BJP president Amit Shah, national party leadership, Ministers and other leaders of the state.
Food and Civil Supplies Minister Kishan Kapoor, Health Minister Vipin Singh Parmar, State BJP President Satpal Satti, Chief Secretary BK Agarwal, Additional Chief Secretary-cum-Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Dr Shrikant Baldi, Additional Chief Secretary Manisha Nanda, Additional Chief Secretary Tourism Ram Subhag Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Home Manoj Kumar, Principal Secretary Onkar Sharma, Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Sanjay Kundu and other senior officers were present on the occasion.
