Fresh ceasefire violation by Pakistan near LoC in Kupwara Sector

Srinagar, Dec 06: After Uri now Pakistani Army on Thursday targetted forward posts in Machil Sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara District.

Army sources told media that Pakistani troops shelling from across the border in Ringpayeen, Tantary and Khan Basti areas of Machil sector of Kupwara district on Thursday afternoon.

However, there was no immediate report of any casualty sources added.

The exchange of fire between the two sides was on when last reports came in.

Pertinently cross-border shelling continues reported in Kamalkote area of Uri, where on Wednesday two army soldiers were injured.
