CRPF pays tribute to Head Constable martyred in militant attack in Pulwama
Srinagar, Nov 19: Central Reserve Police Force (CRCPF) on Monday paid rich tribute to a Head Constable (HC), who was martyred in a militant attack in south Kashmir district of Pulwama on Sunday.
Officials said that wreath laying ceremony of the slain CRPF HC, Chandrika Prasad, was held at RTC CRPF Humhama on Monday.
“Inspector General (IG), CRPF, Kashmir Ravideep Sahi led CRPF, civil officers and jawans in laying the floral wreaths on the bodies of the martyrs,” they said.
HC Prasad was martyred in a militant attack on a CRPF camp at Kakpora in Pulwama on Sunday evening.
They said the mortal remains of the martyr were flown for last rites to his native place, where he would be laid to rest with full honours.
