Chander Mohan Gupta elected Jammu Mayor

Jammu, Nov 15: BJP Councillor Chander Mohan Gupta on Thursday was elected as new Mayor of Jammu Municipal Corporation.
The elections to elect Mayor and Deputy Mayor started this morning.
Total 75 votes were cast out of which Mr Gupta was polled 45.
His rival Vijay Choudhary was polled 30 votes.
However, elections for the post of Deputy Mayor are underway and the results will be declared late afternoon.
