Border roads closed in Kupwara following fresh snowfall
Srinagar, Nov 13: The roads leading to border areas Machail and Keran on Tuesday were closed following fresh snowfall in higher reaches of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
“The decision was taken as a precautionary measure due to slippery road conditions after a fresh snowfall,” said an official.
An official said that the road connecting Machil and Keran with the district headquarters have been closed for vehicular movement, however, the road connecting Tanghdar with Kupwara is open for traffic.
