Dabang Police officer Rath’s reported transfer makes social media hot

Jammu: The Dabang police officer - Basant Rath, IGP Traffic who has been hit in slap gate in Jammu and distributing chocolates in valley today made rounds in social media as messages runiing on whatsapp group were indicating his transfer from recent posting i.e. IGP traffic.

The hot topic took place Monday evening which took the shape of whispering in police and social circle that Basant Rath has been transferred from Traffic and posted in Home Guard while as IGP Security Alok Kumar has taken the chair of IGP Traffic.

Swapping of posts between the two officials was apparently the talk of town and people were just ringing each other to confirm the message making rounds in air on Whatsapp.

“Though, no formal order in this connection was issued till late hours, but the transfer of the Dabang police officer remained hot topic the entire day.”

However later tin the day a post of the former DGP SP Vaid made the topic more interesting as in his tweet former DGP SP Vaid , now transport commissioner, said that Rath is a honest and dynamic man therefore he hope that his transfer is not true.

“ Social Media was agog with rumours of t transfer of Basant Rath @ Kangari Carrier IGP Traffic;I hope it is not true. He may follow unorthodox ways,but his honesty and dynamism is appreciable le and commendable”, Vaid tweeted on social media.
