12 students injured as school bus turns turtle

Srinagar: As many as 12 students of Army Goodwill school were injured when a vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident at world famous health resort of Pahalgam in south Kashmir on Monday.

Official sources told news agency that a bus of Army Goodwill School skidded off the road and fell into an open field near Nunwan base camp in Pahalgam on Monday, resulting in injuries to 12 students.

"The injured students were immediately taken to a local hospital from where four of them were referred to a District Hospital in Anantnag," they said.

They said the condition of all the injured students is stated to be stable.
