Life returns to normal in Tral after two days' strike

Srinagar, Nov 12: Life returned to normal on Monday in Tral in south Kashmir district of Pulwama after two days strike against the killing of a Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) militant in an encounter with security forces in the area on Friday.

Shops and business establishments are open and traffic was plying on all routes normally in Tral and adjoining villages. Work in government offices, banks and other commercial establishments was normal.

The educational institutions were also functioning normally.

Mobile internet service was also restored in the town after remaining suspended since Friday.

JeM militant Anwar Abbasi was on Friday killed by security force in an encounter, during which a Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police constable was also injured.
