Army jawan who sustained mysterious bullet injury succumbs in Rajouri

Jammu, Nov 9: An Army jawan who suffered mysterious bullet injury, succumbed during the treatment in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.

"Army soldier hit by a bullet inside an army camp in Rajouri district on Thursday has succumbed", police sources here said on Friday.

They said that a soldier was mysteriously hit by a bullet inside the camp in Narian village along Jammu-Poonch highway.

“He was shifted to army hospital after mysterious bullet injury where he succumbed late Thursday evening,” they added.

The soldier, whose identity was yet to be ascertained had visited Rajouri for some official purpose and was posted in RR unit at Mahore in Reasi district.
