ULB polls: Congress gets majority in Anantnag, winning 20 wards, BJP bags 3

Anantnag, Oct 20: Congress made a clean sweep in 25-member Municipal Committee (MC) Anantnag by winning absolute majority.

Officials said that Congress won 20 wards followed by BJP with 3 wards.

Two Independent candidates bagged the remaining two wards.

Two of the BJP candidates are local while the third is presently residing in Jammu.
