Rajouri OSC organizes awareness camps

RAJOURI, OCTOBER 19: The One-Stop Center (OSC) Rajouri of the ministry of women and child development today oragnised two awareness camps under its objective of providing support to women affected by violence, in private and public spaces, within the family, community and at the workplace.
The awareness camps were organized at Govt middle school Katarmal and Govt.High school Ghambir Bharamana by OSC Rajouri.
Administrator OSC, Nitu Sharma, counselor Neha Suri and case worker Suksham Sharma informed the students and teachers about the services provided by the Centre.
The participants were educated about women rights and the role of OSC in securing and protecting these rights.
The participants were told that the OSC aims at to support to women facing physical, sexual, emotional, psychological and economic abuse, irrespective of age, class, caste, education status, marital status, race, and culture.
The OSC officials told the participants that aggrieved women facing any kind of violence due to attempted sexual harassment, sexual assault, domestic violence, trafficking, honor-related crimes, acid attacks or witch-hunting who have reached out or been referred to the OSC will be provided with services.
They were further told that OSC and women helpline i.e. 181 work in an integrated manner to ensure proper redress of these forms of violence and harassment.
