Media-XI CC registers win over RC-XI by 40 runs

JAMMU, Oct 13: Media-XI Cricket Club Jammu registered win over Reader’s Café-XI a margin of 40 runs at Phallian Mandal Ground, here today.

Electing to bat first Media-XI led by skipper Sunil Bali made 174 runs with the loss of 5 wickets in the allotted 20 over’s.

Ranjeet Singh was the top scorer with 86 runs in 55 balls, while Sunil Bali scored 15 runs off 10 balls was the second highest scorer.

Reader’s Café-XI side, Waseem and Ritesh, took two wickets each

Chasing the target, Reader’s Café-XI led by skipper Vivek Suri was bundled out at 134 runs and lost the match by a margin of 40 runs. Raghav was the highest scorer with 24 runs off 28 balls, while Ritesh made 14 runs in 20 balls.

For Media-XI side, Lucky Singh bowled well and took hat-trick, while Yash Khajuria, Sachin Singh and Mir Imran took 1 wicket each.
