MCC: DM Kupwara bans public rallies

KUPWARA: District Magistrate Kupwara, Khalid Jahangir, today issued an order banning holding of public rallies without permission.
According to the order, in view of the Municipal and Panchayat Elections 2018, no rally is allowed within the jurisdiction of District Kupwara without seeking prior permission from District Election Officer Kupwara. A strict action shall be initiated against the violators as warranted under law.
