Mouners took out Muharram processions in Kargil
Kargil, Sep 19: Thousands of Shia mouners on Wednesday took out processions in this border district of Ladakh region in Jammu and Kashmir.
Members of the community took out a procession and marched through different streets, including Main Bazar and culminated at Hussani Park and Islamia school premises.
The processionists reciting Marcia and verses of holy Quran also raised slogans against US, Israel and royal dictators of Arab world.
They also expressed solidarity with the people of Yemen, Nigeriaan scholar Sheikh Zakzaky, Bahran and other oppressed nations in the world.
Similar processions were taken out at in Drass, Sankoo, Suru, Wakha and other places of Kargil district. The mourners paid rich tributes to the great sacrifices of Imam Hussain, grandson of Prophet Muhammad and his companions.
