Publicfaithkulgam.com portal launched for online grievance redressal

KULGAM: Deputy Commissioner Dr Shamim Ahmad Wani today launched online portal, www.publicfaithkulgam.com to facilitate citizens for online registration of grievances and redressal thereof.
ADDC Khawaja Nazir Ahmad, ADC Ghulam Hassan Sheikh, ACR Shahnawaz Ahmad Shah besides other district officers were present on the occasion.
Briefing the media, Dr Wani said that citizens could access the site using the web portal, www.publicfaithkulgam.com adding that a team of 5 officials under the supervision of Additional DC will be operating the online grievances registration portal to respond to the complaints promptly.
He said a mobile - app will also be developed shortly for the purpose. He added that the idea is to bridge the gaps between administration and public and promote the interface through available technologies.
To look after the online complaints, a control centre has also been established in the office of the deputy commissioner for effective and time-bound monitoring and disposal of complaints.
