Jammu, Sep 18: More than 40 people belonging to BJP and NC quit their respective political leanings and joined the Panthers Party in the presence of the party Chairman Harsh Dev Singh at a function, here on Tuesday.

While welcoming the new entrants, Mr Singh asked them to conduct a door to door campaign for the dissemination of the policies and programmes of the Panthers Party and to persuade the people to support it in its fight for the cause of Jammu.

Mr Singh further added, “Enroll maximum youth so as to avenge those who betrayed us in the name of employment and achhe din”. He also added that the recent past had witnessed a growing feeling of disenchantment amongst the masses against the BJP leadership for its successive surrenders and betrayals with the cause of the Dogras.

This is the time to approach the people with all sincerity and dedication while convincing them about the party’s commitment to serve the Dogras and to ensure them a fair deal with dignity and honour, he added.

The new entrants pledged to give their whole-hearted support to the NPP in its crusade for justice, said Mr Singh.
