38 KAS, 22 DySPs among 63 shuffled

JAMMU: In a major reshuffle in middle-rung administration and Police department ahead of the coming into force of Model Code of Conduct, the state government on Saturday transferred 63 officers including 38 KAS officers and 22 Deputy Superintendents of Police.

The Model Code of Conduct came into effect this evening with the announcement of Civic polls.

As per an official order by the GAD, Gurvinderjit Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, was transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur vice Krishan Lal, who has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Poonch vice Basharat Hussain, who in-turn has been posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ramban.

Pavan Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Doda and Kishori Lal, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar would swap their places of posting; Purnima Mittal, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, under orders of transfer as Joint Director, I&C, Srinagar, was posted as Joint Director (Administration) in the Directorate of Rural Development, Kashmir vice Shabir Hussain Bhat, who was transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Shopian vice Parvez Sajad Ganai who further has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag, while Mohammad Saleem, Member, J&K Services Selection Board, was transferred and posted as Additional District Development Commissioner, Shopian, against an available vacancy.

Sunita Anand, Secretary, J&K Public Service Commission and Rajesh Sharma, Special Secretary to the Government, School Education Department would swap their place of postings; Abdul Hafiz Shah, awaiting orders of adjustment in the GAD was posted as Additional Director, SKIMS vice Dr. Firdous Ahmad Girl, who was transferred and posted as Additional Secretary to the Government, Tourism Department.

Nagendra Singh Jamwal, Additional Secretary to the Government, Home Department, was transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer, Tourism Development Authority, Surinsar—Mansar, against an available vacancy; Puneet Sharma, under orders of transfer as Additional Secretary to the Government, Tourism Department, was posted as Deputy Excise Commissioner (Distilleries), Jammu, relieving Ashok Kumar Sharma, Deputy Commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Appeals-II), Jammu of the additional charge of the post.

Champs Devi, Joint Director (Administration) in the Directorate of Rural Development, Jammu, was transferred and posted as Joint Registrar, Cooperatives (Audit), Jammu, against an available vacancy;n Parveen Kumar, Collector, J&K Housing Board, was transferred and posted as Deputy Director (Central) in the Directorate of Information, J&K.

Rajeshwar Singh Charak, Deputy Secretary to the Government, Transport Department, was transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary to the Government, Agriculture Production Department; Mohammad Aslam, Deputy Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Kashmir, under orders of transfer as Secretary, J&K State Advisory Board for Development of Gujjars and Bakerwals, was posted as Project Officer Wage Employment (ACD), Anantnag, against an available vacancy.

Afaq Ahmad, Deputy Secretary to the Government, Revenue Department, was transferred and posted as Assistant Commissioner, Revenue, Kishtwar vice Inderjeet Singh, who was transferred and posted as Assistant Commissioner (General), Jammu, vice Sonu Pargal, who was transferred and posted as Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Udhampur vice Subhash Chander Dogra, who in turn has been transferred and posted as Sub-Divisional Magistrate (South), Gangyal.

Kulbushan Khajuria, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (South), Gangyal, was transferred and posted as Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Samba vice Waseem Raja, who was transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary to the Government, Home Department.

Bashir Ahmad Bhat, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Baramulla, and Mohammad Abdullah Malik Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Kupwara would swap their place of postings; similarly, Mohammad Ashraf, Project Manager, IWMP, Poonch, and Abdul Qayoom Mir, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Rajouri, would swap their place of postings.

Neelam Khajuria, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Katra, and Ashok Kumar, Project Manager, IWMP, Udhampur would swap their place of postings; Hitesh Gupta, KAS, Deputy Secretary in the Governor's Secretariat, was transferred and posted as Secretary, Jammu Tawi Golf Course; Saleem Ahmad, Deputy Director, District Employment and Counselling Centre, Rajouri, was transferred and posted as Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Surankote, Poonch; Avleen Kour Bali, Deputy Director (Central) in the Directorate of Information, J&K, was transferred and posted as Collector, J&K Housing Board, Jammu.

Shazia Koser, Deputy Director, District Employment and Counselling Centre, Poonch, was transferred and posted as Deputy District Election Officer, Poonch; Tahir Mustafa Malik, KAS, Deputy Secretary to the Government, Horticulture Department, was transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary to the Government, Home Department; Sanjay Kumar Bhat, Deputy Secretary to the Government, Home Department, was transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary to the Government, Higher Education; Shashi Bala, Deputy District Election Officer, Poonch, was transferred and posted as Deputy Director, District Employment and Counselling Centre, Poonch, while Hakim Muzaffar, Deputy Secretary to the Government, Agriculture Production Department, was transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary to the Government, Transport Department.

Two other officers, Syed Shahnawaz, Deputy Secretary to the Government, Public Works (R&B) Department, was transferred and posted as Deputy Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Kashmir, whereas Mohammad Rashid, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Surankote, Poonch, was transferred and posted as Deputy Director, District Employment and Counselling Centre, Rajouri.

The Police Headquarters also ordered transfer and posting of twenty-two Deputy Superintendents of Police, here today.
