Labourer thrown into factory boiler, charred

JAMMU: In a brutal incident against human values, a labourer was thrown into a boiler by his colleagues after they had heated arguments over loan of Rs 1000 which later took ugly turn resulting into tragic death of victim.

“A thirty-year-old man was today killed after being pushed into a factory’s boiler by accused, police sources said, adding, “the incident took place in pencil factory running in the name and style of M/s Sanghvi Woods Private limited at SIDCO industrial estate, Bari Brahmana.”

Police said, “The deceased has been identified as Sunil Singh (24) son of Mogra Singh of Jharkhand.” “The victim was thrown into the boiler by his colleagues. A verbal brat took place between Sunil and his colleague namely Naveen Gope son of Mohan Gopee of Jharkhand over a loan of Rs 1000.

“The duo is stated to be working as labourer in the factory and the brawling duo was joined in two more persons namely Chandrash Kumar son of Mado Kumar of Jharkhand and Bardan Kandulna son of Riskan Kandulana of Jharkhand and Sunil Singh in melee was pushed into the heated boiler of the factory,” it said.

Acting swiftly, police have arrested the accused and further investigations are on in this case.
