Six killed in road mishap in Jaunpur

Jaunpur, July 22: Six people died on the spot while three others were severely injured in a road accident here in Jalalpur area here in Sunday.

Police sources here said that a trailer- truck moving towards Varanasi rammed two motorbikes and two bicycles near Jalalpur Chaumuhani at Jaunpur-Varanasi highway on Sunday morning. While six people died on the spot, three others, including a woman, were severely injured in the accident.

The injured were rushed to the hospital and police was trying to identify the deceased.

Meanwhile, the agitated crowed torched the trailer-truck following which additional police force was deployed in the area.
