22-yr-old Muslim woman in Gujarat files police case against husband for giving triple talaq

Ahmedabad, July 19: A 22-year-old Muslim woman in Ahmedabad has filed a police complaint against her husband who had allegedly ousted her from his house after utter triple talaq.
Police said that the woman, who was married to a man in Shahpur area of the city over two years ago has filed the complaint.
In the complaint she has alleged that her husband used to behave with her in cruel manner since she had given birth to a girl child over a year ago. He and his family members were saying that they wanted a boy child instead.
The husband allegedly kicked her out of his house after uttering triple talaq.
The matter was being investigated, police added.
