Call drop snag irks BSNL users in Jammu

Jammu, July 18: The users of country’s major telecom service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) on Wednesday remained hit due to call drops snag, which hampered the normal working across the region.

The customers complained of call drops since morning, which remained affected till late afternoon.

Many BSNL subscribers alleged that they faced lot of hardship due to the snag broke out this morning as they could not contact many people thus forcing them to jump to private players.

“Due to call drop snag, we were left with no other option than availing services of private telecom service providers as their services were functioning smoothly,” a BSNL user said.

He added that on many occasions, BSNL service remains hit, which cases inconvenience to its users, adding, “if the private telecom companies are working without any break-up then why not country’s most reliable government-run BSNL be most trustworthy.”

The customer said that BSNL cellphones were also not getting connected from the landline service.

Meanwhile, a BSNL official said that the call drop snag broke out due to some technical fault, which has been repaired for smooth sailing.
