Guv Rule: Daily grievances 190, disposal rate 159

SRINAGAR: In 23 days of Governor’s Rule, the government grievance cell has received around 190 complaints on a daily average while the administration, under personal monitoring of Governor, had been able to dispose of at least 159 complaints on daily basis.

Out of 4389 complaints and grievances, 3658 have been disposed off or forwarded to concerned quarters since the imposition of Governor rule in the Jammu and Kashmir, where Chief minister resigned after BJP pulled out from the coalition government with PDP.

An official spokesman said here this evening that since the imposition of Governor’s Rule, till date, the Grievance Cell received 4389 complaints and grievances, of which 3,658 have been disposed of/forwarded to the concerned quarters for their timely redressal.

He said 1706 complaints and grievances are under process. During this period, Governor’s Secretariat received 1430 complaints and grievances, of which 1323 complaints have been disposed/forwarded to the concerned quarters and 107 are under process.
