1 dead, 10 injured as buses collide in Kolhapur

Kolhapur, Jul 13: A person was killed and ten other injured in a collision between two State Transport (ST) buses near Kirve village on Kolhapur Gaganbavda national highway on Friday morning.
According to Gaganbavda police, the ST bus, which coming from Longe to Rankala ST stand collided head-on with another ST bus which was going to Vijaydurg from Pune, killing the person on the spot.
The deceased was identified as Bebi Balu Mullani (40), resident of Tisangi village in Gaganbavda tehsil.
The injured are being treated at Chhatrapati Pramila Raje hospital, police added.
