Unnao, Jul 12: The family members of the Unnao rape and murder case victim have questioned the BJP for not sacking prime accused MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar from the party even after being chargesheeted by the CBI.

"The MLA's family is threatening us regularly while police is also sitting idle over more than 20 cases lodged against them as they are still the member of the ruling party in the state," claimed rape victim's uncle Mahesh Singh.

Talking to mediapersons here over the filing of chargesheet by the CBI against the MLA in the gangrape case, Mr Singh said the BJP always promises to provide a clean and criminal less government but no action against the MLA shows its actual intention.

Though satisfied over the CBI probe and the chargesheet, he said that the family was thankful to the investigating agency that it has promised them justice but still the situation can change any day as the BJP MLA was continuously threatening the family and was interfering into the day to day investigation of the police.

The CBI had chargesheeted BJP MLA Sengar and his woman accomplice Sashi Singh in the gangrape case while the legislator's brother and five others have been chargesheeted in the murder of the victim's father.
