DC Kargil inaugurates awareness prog on World Population Day

KARGIL: Deputy Commissioner and CEO LAHDC, Kargil Vikas Kundal today inaugurated an awareness programme organized by the Health Department here to observe World Population Day.
Chief Medical Officer Kargil Dr. Mohammad Ibrahim, DIO Dr. Mumtazmad, Gynecologist Consultant Dr. Fatima Nissa, DH Kargil, Community Health Officer, FMHWs and ASHA workers besides other concerned were present on the occasion.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the benefit of the population stabilization leads to sufficient basic amenities like land, water, power and food.
He laid emphasis on achieving the goal of work population fortnight and submit the consolidated report to assess further planning.
Other speakers also threw light on the objective of the programme and population stabilization scenario in the state as well as in district Kargil.
