Three civilians injured in grenade attack
Srinagar, May 23: At least three people were injured on Wednesday in a grenade attack by militants in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.
The ultras hurled a grenade at security forces patrol party at Goriwan Chowk in Bijbehara area of the south Kashmir district, causing injuries to at least three civilians, a police official said.
He said the injured had been rushed to hospital.
Security forces had cordoned off the area and launched a hunt for the militants, the official said, adding that further details were awaited.
