According to a KU spokesman, fresh dates will be announced later.

Similarly, the IUST, Awantipora has also postponed all examinations. Classes have also been suspended in the university.

Though no reason was given for suspension of classes and postponing examinations, but the measure has been taken in view of “Eidgah Challo” and general strike call by the Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL), comprising Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Mirwaiz Omar Farooq and Mohammad Yaseen Malik to pay tributes to Mirwaiz Mohammad Farooq and Abdul Gani Lone on their death anniversaries.
