TLSC Ramnagar organizes Lok Adalat

UDHAMPUR: Tehsil Legal Services Committee (TLSC), Ramnagar today organized a Lok Adalat under the chairmanship of Sub Judge Anjum Ara here at the Court Complex.
The Lok Adalat took up 30 cases of compoundable civil, criminal nature of which 14 were settled on the spot. Besides , 26 Traffic Challans were taken up and all were disposed off and compounding fine of Rs-5850 was recovered on the spot.
Sub judge, who is also the chairman of Tehsil Legal Services Committee Ramnagar, made the locals aware about the Legal Aid being provided to the poor people, various acts and schemes launched by the government of India for the welfare of general public and urged the people to come forward and avail the benefits of the schemes.
Tehsildar Ramnagar, Ramesh Singh besides other prosecuting Officers and Bar members were present on the occasion.
