Army organises a Lecture on Health and Hygiene at Cherji Region

Kishtwar, May 19: With an aim to educate the local populace regarding the importance and relevance of healthy life, Indian Army organised a lecture on health and hygiene for the locals of Cherji region, Kishtwar District.

The lecture on health and hygiene is an initiative to increase awareness regarding good hygiene and health care issues in day to day life. The local populace were educated on various issues like the importance of washing hands, drinking clean water and maintaining good personnel hygiene in order to live a healthy and prosperous life. A total of 46 locals attended the lecture with full zeal and enthusiasm.

The event promises to be a unique effort to improving the hygiene and sanitation standards in day to day life. The locals lauded the initiatives and expressed hope that such initiatives by the Army will give a fillip to general hygiene amongst the people.
