Div Com clears allocation of plots, housing units to 70 Tsunt Kul dwellers

SRINAGAR: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Khan, who is also the head of LAWDA Sub Monitoring Committee, today convened a meeting to review the rehabilitation plan for Tsunt Kul dwellers.
The Div Com cleared allocation of 57 housing units and 13 plots measuring 7 marlas to 70 families of Tsunt Kul identified for rehabilitation.
Khan asked the officers to ensure proper verification before formal allocations to the identified families. He also asked LAWDA to identify 20 kanals of land at Rakh-i-Arth for rehabilitation of remaining Tsunt Kul dwellers.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, VC LAWDA, Deputy Director Planning and other concerned officers were present in this meeting.
