Army organised Medical Camp at Drangdhuran

Kishtwar, May 17: In order to address the growing medical needs of the locals in the region of Drangdhuran & surrounding far flung areas, Indian Army under took an initiative to organise a medical camp at Drangdhuran region of Kishtwar district on 17 May 2018. The Camp was aimed at providing basic medical facilities to the locals of the region who are forced to move to Kishtwar for all minor / major health issues.

Keeping the same into consideration Regimental Medical Officer of Indian Army alongwith the medical staff conducted a medical camp at Drangdhuran region. The camp witnessed a huge turnover of locals. A total of 287 patients were benefitted from the camp out of which 95 males, 77 females and 115 Children.

The medical camp was very well received by the populace of Drangdhuran and was appreciated by one and all. The locals expressed their desire to organise such medical camps in future as well. The medical camp was instrumental in carving out a niche for better health efforts to be provided to the local populace. The continuous and relentless efforts of Indian Army towards conduct of such camps have been greatly appreciated and lauded by the public.
