MLA Noorabad reviews Ramadhan arrangements

KULGAM: MLA Noorabad, Abdul Majeed Padder, today convened a meeting to review the arrangements put in place in Noorabad constituency for the holy month of Ramadan.
The meeting held threadbare discussions on traffic, power supply, drinking water, medicare among other facilities for the holy month. The MLA asked the officers of all departments to ensure that there is no discrepancy and that all kinds of essential services as required are made available, stressing that special care should be taken to ensure uninterrupted power and water supplies during Sehri and Iftaar times.
He said that a comprehensive mechanism should be put in place to ensure proper facilitation of amenities during Ramadan. He also called for constituting special squads for market checking during this month.
The MLA also called for ensuring an adequate supply of ration and deployment of water tankers in all areas of the constituency.
The meeting was attended by DDC Kulgam Sajad Hussain, CPO, SDM Noorabad, Executive Engineers PDD and PHE besides others officers of sub-division Noorabad.
