One day awareness workshop organised on PMSSS

Srinagar, May 16: A one day awareness workshop on Prime Minister Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS) 2018-2019 was organised for students at Government Degree College Doda on wednesday here.

The workshop was organised by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi (Ministry of Human Resource Development and Higher Education Department of J&K. The workshop was held under the guidence of Principal GDC Doda Dr Shafqat Hussain Rafiqi. In his address, Principal welcomed all the guests and other staff members also welcomed with flowers.

While addressing to participants, Chairman AICTE New Delhi AICTE Dr Anil Saraswady appreciated the efforts put in by the faculity of college and students also. He delivered the lectuter about PMSSS 2018-2019. Experts interacted with the students and touched the various aspects of PMSSS and listened the greviences students/ parents and answer their queries. They also informed, the facilitation centre was opened in your GDC Doda in 2014.

Earlier, Chairman AICTE New Delhi along with other guest planted the cedar tress at Sceince stream Block.

Chairman AICTE Anil Sarawady , Nodal Officer PMSSS J&K Dr Ajeet Angral, Asstt Director AICTR New Delhi Rakesh Kumar Gangoo, Principal GDC Doda Dr Shafqat Rafiqi, Director FHDAF Anjali Naik, AGM (MAI Association of India) Pooja Sharma, Gulshan Foundation Member Jamsheed, Prof.Babu Ram, Prof Javed Ali Tramboo, Asstt Prof. Imtiyaz Ahmed Wani, other members and large munber of students were present on this occassion.

The programme was conducted by Head of the Department Zoology Dr Ajaz Ahmed Wani who was the Nodal officer of facilitation centre PMSSS at GDC Doda. At the end, the programme was concluded by vote of thanks presented by Dr Ajaz Ahmed Wani.
