"Kalsh Yatra" taken out on the eve of Ganga Dashera

Rajouri, May 16: Like every year, this year also the holy "Kalsh Yatra" was taken out with great enthusiasm and religious fervour in Rajouri town.The Yatra started from Sanatan Dharam Sabha Mandir near tehsil office and was headed by His Holiness Shri Shri 1008 Rajguru Mahamandleshwar Shri Swami Vishwatmanand Saraswati ji Maharaj accompanied by large number of saints and devotees who came from different parts of the state like Sunderbani, Nowshera, Dhangri, Kalakote, Jammu and also from some other surrounding areas.

The Yatra passed through the main market and covered areas like city Chowk to Old bus stand in which devotees performed dances with drum beats and chanting bhajans with full zeal and gaiety. At last, the Yatra was culminated at SVS Gyan Ganga Ashram where a week long "Shrimadbhagwat Tatva Gyan Yagya" is being organised from today i.e 16th May on the occasion of "Ganga Dashera" which is sheduled to be held on 24th of May 2018.

The members of SVS Ashram, Rajouri welcomed Swamiji and all the devotees with Parshad and after that langer was organised for everyone.While speaking during the inagural function, Swamiji briefed the gathering about the importance of Bhagwat katha in everyone’s life and how one can take the path of self realization by reading and listening such religious discourses.
