Govt Girls Model Hr. Sec. School Samba celebrated World Red Cross Day

SAMBA: On the directions of worthy District Development Commissioner Samba, Government Girls model higher secondary school samba celebrated world Red Cross day at school premises samba here today.

Block Development Officer, Samba Smt. Malvika Sharma was the chief guest on this occasion.

According to the report, Govt. Girls Model Hr. Sec. School Samba organised a function on the eve of World Red Cross Day comprises of all the schools falls under the cluster.

Chief Guest of the event, Smt. Malvika Sharma hoisted the Red Cross Flag and all the students and staff members along with Principal GGHSS Samba take the pledge of Red Cross and do the prayer.

A symposium was also organised in which Richa of GGHSS Samba secured 1st prize while Diksha Sambyal and Sonali remained 2nd and 3rd. After that cultural part was held in which Valmiki Public School Samlah got 1st prize while 2nd and 3rd was again secured by GGHSS Samba.

Further, the paper reading competition was held in which Sh. Anil Kumar Verma, Master and Smt. Jeevan Jyoti were rewarded as the best spokesperson. All the winners were awarded by the Chief Guest. Principal Sh. Jai Krishan Raina also addressed the event and motivates the students towards voluntarily contribution for mankind through Red Cross Society.

While addressing, Chief Guest of the occasion, Smt. Malvika Sharma, BDO Samba told that the Red Cross society is the world's best organisation that helps every single individual in tragedy need.
