30% hike as interim relief for Subordinate judiciary members

JAMMU: The State Government today sanctioned release of Interim Relief @ 30% of Basic Pay/ Basic Pension (including family pension) of the members of the Jammu & Kashmir Subordinate Judicial Services & Pensioners of the Jammu & Kashmir Subordinate Judicial Services (including family pensioners) with effect from 1 January, 2016.

“Pending notification of final award by the Second National Judicial Pay Commission on account of revision of the pay of the Members of Subordinate Judicial Services, sanction is accorded to the release of Interim Relief @ 30% of Basic Pay/ Basic Pension (including family pension) as recommended by the Commission in respect of the members of the Jammu & Kashmir Subordinate Judicial Services & Pensioners of the Jammu & Kashmir Subordinate Judicial Services (including family pensioners) with effect from 01.01.2016,” said an order issued by the Principal Secretary Finance, Navin Kumar Choudhary.

It said the Interim Relief so sanctioned shall be a distinct element not to be merged with pay/ pension, nor shall form part thereof for purpose of calculation of Allowances. “The payment of arrears on account of release of Interim Relief for the period 01.01.2016 to 31.03.201 8 shall be regulated in accordance with the Government Order No: 220-F of 2018 & Government Order No: 223 -F of 2018 dated: 24.04.2018 respectively,” said the order.
