JD Institute Designer Students give a Strong Message on Child Sexual Abuse during “Navya”

Jammu: The students of JD institute of fashion technology, Jammu centre today put up an exhibition dedicated to crime against women, especially little girls.

NAVYA- let’s give our girls a better future was put up by the fashion and interior design students.

As one entered the exhibition venue a display was done representing the goodness that we should offer to our children. Butterflies, birds and swings depicting a happy healthy childhood. The second half of the display showed the ugly side represented by a big black owl and dried withering trees.

The highlight of the event was an installation done in two halves representing two lives of a young girl. The right side representing her ideal life and the left side telling a story of what the society offers her.

The exhibition was inaugurated by little girls all holding special messages against child sexual abuse.

Mrs. Maansi gupta Owner of Studio MG & centre director jd institute, jammu centre said that our state is going through a crisis right now. There is so much of chaos and noises. Amidst this deafening noise that is threatening to destroy the secular fabric of our state, our endeavour is to stop politicising and focus on the root cause of child sexual abuse. Mr. Raman gupta chairman, Krishna creations said that student under the guidance of our able faculty members Lakhwinder kour, pooja sagar, roopali manotra and pooja Pandoh have put up a commendable display of talent along with giving out a very powerful message
