All J&K Department Clerks association protest in Kupwara against pay anomaly

Appeal Govt to fulfill their long pending demands

Kupwara, April 21: The Kupwara clerical association members held a protest demonstration out side at DDC office Kupwara, today. Scores of clerks working in various departments in Kupwara on Saturday staged a protest demonstration under the banner of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh All Departments Clerkal Staff Association against the alleged negligence of the government towards their cadre. The main demand of the employees was the removal of pay disparity.

According to our Correspondent Wasim Majnoon Mir, Vice President of the Kupwara Association, Ab Ahad said that the employees were on pen down strike against the pay anomaly and demanding fulfillment of demands promised to them by the govt."

"While talking to our Correspondent they said if Government failed to full fill their demands of removing pay anomalies will go for an indefinite strike."
