Jammu, Mar 20 : Days after one of the doctors of Government Medical College and Hospital was sacked by the government for posting ''anti-government'' comments on the social media, Resident Doctors Association has warned Jammu and Kashmir Health and Medical Education Minister Bali Bhagat to revoke the order by March 21 or face agitation in phased manners.

The Jammu and Kashmir government on Saturday has terminated the services of a doctor for posting an ''anti-government'' comment on Facebook.

Dr Amit Kumar, the registrar of GMC, Jammu, had defied a government order that bars its employees from posting anti-government content on social media.

On March 10, Mr Bhagat on Facebook said that he had inaugurated a new lift.

But Dr Kumar, in a reply, commented that it was not a new lift following which on March 15, the college administration ordered his removal, saying that he had ''used his personal social media account and commented with the intent of provoking readers''.
