Three arrested in Rajouri with Saphire stones

Jammu: Police on Friday nabbed three persons with 22 sapphire stones in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Based upon a specific input, a police team intercepted three persons in Rajouri and put them to frisking during which 22 Sapphire stones were recovered from their possession.

The arrested persons were identified as Mohammad Aslam, resident of Thee Dam, Kathua, Noor Alam, residents of Mansar, Samba and Mohammad Googra of Manpur, Kathua.
22 pieces of Sapphire were seized from them, police told UNI adding that a case under 4/5 Saphire Act has been registered.
