Fodder Scam: Verdict in case number RC38A/96 tomorrow

Ranchi, Mar 16 : A special CBI court will tomorrow announce its verdict in Fodder Scam case number RC38/96 which is related to fraudulent withdrawal of funds from Dumka Treasury of the state at the time of unified Bihar.

The court of special CBI judge Shivpal Singh which was scheduled to announce its judgement in the court today decided to defer its decision as the court took on record Mr Lalu Yadav's petition seeking issuing of summons to the than Accountant General P K Mukhopadgyay as an accused in the case and listed it for verdict tomorrow.

The court has asked all the accused in the case whether the are currently outside the jail or inside the jail to be physically present in the court at the time of announcement of the verdict.

Case number RC38A/96 is related to fraudulent withdrawal of Rs 3.76 crore from the Dumka Treasury in which there are a total of 31 accused including Mr Yadav.

The other accused in the case included former Bihar Chief Minister Jaggannath Mishra, former MP R K Rana, former minister Vidyasagar Nishad, the than PAC chairman Dhruv Bhagat and Jagdish Sharma, Commissioner IT Adhip Chandra Chowdhary and other officials, suppliers and transporters.
