Rajouri police arrests three persons with Saphire stones

Jammu, Mar 16 : Police on Friday nabbed three persons with 22 sapphire stones in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Based upon a specific input, a police team intercepted three persons in Rajouri and put them to frisking during which 22 Sapphire stones were recovered from their possession.

The arrested persons were identified as Mohd Aslam, resident of Thee Dam, Kathua, Noor Alam, residents of Mansar, Samba and Mohd Googra of Manpur, Kathua.

22 pieces of Sapphire were seized from them, police said adding that a case under 4/5 Saphire Act has been registered.
