Life returns to normal in Srinagar outskirts, parts of Anantnag

Srinagar, Mar 15 : Life returned to normal on Thursday after remaining affected for three days in Srinagar outskirts and parts of Anantnag district in south Kashmir against the killing of three militants in an encounter by security forces on Monday.

Meanwhile, teaching also resumed in Government Degree College (GDC) in central Kashmir district of Ganderbal, where life retuned to normal on Wednesday.

Shops and business establishments in Soura and adjoining areas reopened after remaining closed for three days as one of the three militants killed in Anantnag encounter Eisa Fazili on Monday was resident of Ahmad Nagar Soura. Traffic was also plying normally.

Meanwhile, life also returned to normal in Kokernag, native village another militant Syed Owais Shafi. The militant outfit Ansar Ghazwatul Hind” claimed that third militant, who was not identified and declared as a foreigner, was a resident of Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh (AP). It identified slain militant as Mohammad Taufeeq, alias Sultan Zabul Al Hindi alias Zarr Al Hindi, who has joined the group in 2017.
