Two people killed in Kashmir road accident
Srinagar, Mar 15 : Two people were killed in a road accident in north Kashmir's Baramulla district on Wednesday evening, official sources said.
A speeding truck hit a car at Hamray, Pattan, on Srinagar-Baramulla road, resulting in serious injuries to two people.
The injured, occupants of the car, were immediately rushed to hospital, where they were declared brought dead.
The deceased were identified as Ashiq Ahmad War and Azad Ahmad Peer, residents of village Nowgam, Handwara in Kupwara.
Police has registered a case and initiated proceedings, they said.
