Gutkha worth Rs 30 lakh seized

Parli, Mar 14 : Rural Parli police has seized gutkha worth Rs 30 lakh from a tempo near Tokwadi village in Beed district of Maharashtra.

Acting on a tip-off, police on Tuesday laid a trap and seized 40 gunny bags of the banned gutkha from the tempo.

After seizure, the contraband was handed over to Food Drug and Administration department, police added.
