AJKKU delegation calls on Revenue minister;discuss issues of Kissan community.

Rajouri, March 13 : A delegation of All Jammu and Kashmir Kissan Union"(AJKKU) led by its chairman Mr.Ashok Sharma, Ex.MLA/ MLC met the Revenue Minister at Civil Secretariat Jammu today. The delegation suggested the minister for revenue that a proper mechanism be devised and put in place to address the issue of administrative units to settle the related growing resentment of the public, eliminating rotational Additional Deputy Commission’s offices in vogue.

Various issues pertaining to Kissan community were discussed such as maintenance and upkeep of the record, authentic revenue entries, timely registration of land records, maintenance of cultivation record of judicious tillers, vigilance over transfer of entries, on spot girdhwari khasra in public assemblies, reimbursement of crores losses, timely revenue collection, issuance of record copies as fraud intkhab, khasra girdhwari, hereditary transfer of land record, timely mutation, solving the farmer issues and mitigation of grievances of farmers functioning of patwari khanas, came under thorough discussion.The emphasize was laid by the delegation for strict enforcement of Public Guarantee Act in the Revenue Department. Land use classification and coordination mechanism to settle the inter-related cases between departments also came under discussion.

The Minister gave patient hearing to the delegation, discussed and replied as the issues raised and assured for redressal of all the genuine demands of the Kissan Union.The delegation thanked the minister for his positive gesture.Others who comprised the delegation include B.S.Jamwal, former Deputy Commissioner, Raghunandan Khajuria, Rashpal Singh Bhatti, Capt. Lalit Kumar Sharma, IFS former APCCF, Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din War, Khilari Lal Kouran, S. Bhagwan Singh, Nakul Sharma, B.C. Raina, Ajay Samlotra and Bodh Raj Bandral.
